It is that time of the year again and the Sommelier wine exhibition is back! Similar to last year, the Sommelier 2015 will take place at the renovated Tel Aviv Heichal Hatarbut (cultural center). The event, which is organized annually by Studio Ben Ami (which also operates the sommelier.co.il and beers.co.il websites and has an annual beer exhibition), is considered as one of the best wine events that the Israeli wine industry has to offer.
The event maintains its exclusivity as it is only open to the professional crowd and provides an excellent opportunity for all of the people that come in contact with the wines we consume (literally - from the vintner to the sales person or waiter serving the wine) to be exposed to new vinos on the market, taste a wide variety of wines and schmooze with friends and colleagues.

Ella Valley Vineyards – try the Ella Valley Sauvignon Blanc and new Cab Franc
Other exhibiting wineries include: Tzora, Chillag, Arza, Trio, Montefiore, Jerusalem Winery, Margalit, Sea Horse Winery, Bar Maor Winery, Chateaux Golan, Jezreel Valley Winery, Shoham Winery, Alexander, Gross Winery, Tura, Netufa, Gvaot, Mony, Gush Etzion, Ortal, Yaffo Winery, Tanya, Naaman, Stern Winery, Whurtman Winery, 1848 Winery, Gat Shomron, Livni Winery, Mond Winery and others.
Importers will also be exhibiting and this is an excellent opportunity to taste interesting imports from popular and also esoteric regions and producers. Stop by the Shaked Bros. booth for some excellent French and Sardinian wines. Kippis has some interesting, German, South African and Spanish Vinos and the Mersch booth is always an excellent place to taste big Australian reds and crispy Sauvignon Blancs from New Zealand. The Scottish Company has an extensive portfolio and you can taste vinos from Italy, France, Spain and beyond.
