In 2003 UNESCO – United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization – has designated Tel Aviv as a World Heritage Site, and ever since then the people of the city celebrate this "white night" during which art and cultural events take place, musicians throw concerts on the streets, and everybody stays up all night.

For instance, take Fortuna Del Mer on Tel Aviv's beautiful marine next to the Carlton Hotel. On this special night it offers Tiger shrimps in Roquefort cheese and cream with Pastis for 86 NIS. Rotschild's Kitchen beautiful Bistro on the city's central Rotschild Boulevard will be offering special white dishes as well.
