Come enjoy three magical weekends of culture and food every Thursday, Friday and Saturday for the next three weekends (the 26th – 28th of November, the 3rd – 5th and 10th – 12th of December). Jerusalem’s best restaurants will be offering special menus for NIS 78. Some of the city’s fanciest locales will be offering NIS 120 menus.
This year the menus are especially rich and varied: Everything from authentic street food to complement your sightseeing of architecture, mosaics and beautiful vistas to gourmet restaurants for those with the most sophisticated palates.
The Hamshushalaim festival offers you the opportunity to discover Jerusalem during the last days of fall and early days of winter and be a part of dozens varied and intimate cultural events.

Hamshush-Culture
During the Hamshushalaim weekends the city’s museums, sites, galleries and parks will be open to the public, and in addition to their regular exhibitions, there will also be a range of concerts and special events.
Hamshush-Art and Tours
A nighttime accessories sale will take place at The Lab – all sorts of essential winter fashion accessories will be on offer in a single location along with a dj and lots of other fun.
Apartment Stroll – Artwork will be exhibited in local apartments, galleries and bars on Friday afternoons.
City of David tour – The short ‘Jerusalem Magic’ tour in the City of David – see the gorgeous lights and lookout points with a fascinating guide.
The Wall Tour – Look out on a breathtaking view of the ancient past, Jerusalem neighbourhoods and the city’s central sites.
The Hebrew Song Bus Tour – An hour and a half long tour of magical sites around Jerusalem including a guide telling stories and leading the singing of classic Jerusalem songs.
Hamshush-Culinary
During the Hamshushalaim festival, many of the city’s best restaurants will be offering special menus for amazing prices along with a range of other culinary activities.
Dozens of restaurants will be offering special menus for just NIS 78, and in addition, some of the city’s fanciest gourmet restaurants will be offering special menus for NIS 120.
In addition, you can personally meet some of the city’s most renowned chefs during the Chef and Restaurant Stories Project.
For those staying in a Jerusalem hotel during the festival, a special ‘Bonus Package’ is on offer, including 50% off the first night (of two), and a meal at participating hotels of just NIS 69 (discounted from NIS 78).
Participating restaurants include:
La Guetta is offering 2 dishes of the diner’s choice for NIS 78. Dishes include: Homemade goulash soup, gnocchi with a hot mushroom and champagne vinegar dressing, papardelle pasta with pieces of duck and chestnuts in red wine, merguez sausages with Moroccan harissa, pickled lemon cream and salad, hot goose liver on a Belgian waffle, and black and white chocolate and lemon cream.
Link is offering a meal for 2 for NIS 78 or NIS 156.
Starters include: tehina falafel, eggplant in tehina, calamari heads in garlic and white wine.
Mains include: shrimp in tomato butter, chicken breast in coconut milk, mushroom pasta.
Simone is offering a meal for NIS 78.
Starters include: orange vegetable soup, pesto soup, Provence salad.
Mains include: Spinach/Broccoli/Mushroom/Leek/Onion/Cheese Quiche, Eggplant-Mushroom-Zucchini Lasagna, Onion Focaccia and dessert
Sushi Plaza Jerusalem is offering a combination of 6 salmon, red tuna and sea bream nigiri, 6 fish or vegetarian maki, spiced salmon soup, and Hiroshima salad for NIS 120.
Primavera is offering a rich menu for NIS 120 per person.
Starters include: Caprese salad, Primavera salad, minestrone soup, orange vegetable soup.
Mains include: Fresh Norwegian salmon filet, Spaghetti de Capri, Farfalle Pasta, Fish of the Day.
