Pastory
Pastory Dan Toren
Pastory is quite unique in this city. Although most hotels usually offer an "all inclusive" deal, it is worth while checking out this different culinary experience, with its special food and wine, which are offered for good prices too
Sitting around in the sun and doing nothing is so very nice. Then get a bite to eat and then rest a little more – well, this is what you do in Eilat.

As soon as we had enough rest, we walked into this magical restaurant called Pastory, which resides at the heart of the city. Pastory is an old establishment that has recently been through an exciting change which includes a presentation of impressive chef dishes that replace the standard pasta offers on the menu. The restaurant's space itself is quite impressive too, with Tuscan vibrations, beautiful fragrances coming out of the kitchen, kind professional servers – a true harmony.

The restaurant's wine refrigerator is filled with wines from all over the world (Italy, France, Chile and other exotic destinations), but the local ones are especially well presented: Red Sea Winery, Dalton, and Golan Heights.

Pastory is quite unique in this city. Although most hotels usually offer an "all inclusive" deal, it is worth while checking out this different culinary experience, with its special food and wine, which are offered for good prices too.

We started our meal with a large plate inhabiting one huge ravioli filled with shrimps and calamari cooked in cream with a precise touch of saffron. Then a very thin and crispy bianca pizza was topped with sliced grilled asparagus and Kalamata olives that were covered with parmesan flakes and a nice drizzle of truffle oil. Crusted pasta flowers were filled with spinach and ricotta cheese, and laid in a pond of cream and spinach sauce. A true Italian Caprese salad with fresh Mozzarella clouds and crunchy green leaves was touched by balsamic sauce. I loved it. Pastory is planning to launch soon a new molecular cooking menu, and I hope you will get a chance to try it. Enjoy!
